Okay, with most sets the answer would be obvious--break the set, lose the bonus. However....

I've got the Necromancer set. I've got it all equipped, so I get the bonus. I don't yet have all the supplies to upgrade it to the Reinforced version. So, if I upgrade it a piece at a time, do I lose the bonus until I finish the process?
